My article on General Sir John Woodford in the latest issue of the Cumbria Magazine. Woodford lived for many years near Keswick, was probably the last surviving officer of Waterloo, probably invented Battlefield archaeology with a dig at Agincourt, and was a champion of the Right to Roam.
